The Digital Scriptorium is an image database of pre-modern manuscripts, intended to unite scattered records from many institutions into a national platform for teaching and scholarly research. Please know that each institution owns and manages its own records, so not all records include the same level of information. Each institution is responsible for maintaining their records and for the information they choose to include in DS. Each record includes a “Comment on this record” link near the top of the record for users to send questions or feedback about a record. DS forwards any questions about a manuscript to the holding institution.
